Sherriff's Office Interview Room Testimonial

After moving into our new building, a couple of years ago, we realized our interview rooms had serious voice echo problems making video and audio recordings extremely difficult to understand or transcribe. These sound issues were caused by our need to have these rooms built with block walls, secure ceilings, and steel doors. Since we use these rooms to interview crime suspects, we were faced with the following considerations in determining the best type of sound proofing product to apply on the walls: Product durability, combustibility, noise reduction, and appearance. Our concerns led us to Acoustical Surfaces, Inc. where we recently purchased fabric covered Clear Voiceª Acoustical Panels. We installed the nonflammable (6″ wide – 2″ thick) panels on all the walls of one interview room spaced about 16 inches apart. The amount of noise reduction we achieved was astonishing and the panels look great as well. Needless to say, we are going to find the additional money needed to add the acoustical panels in the other rooms. I was very happy with the service we received from Acoustical Surfaces, Inc. sales staff. They were extremely knowledgeable about their products and how to best serve all of our needs and concerns. I love dealing with professional companies.

Thank you and keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
Lieutenant Britt S.
