Sound Silencer™ Vertically Hanging Acoustical Baffles

Some spaces simply weren’t built to be quiet. In gymnasiums, indoor pools, manufacturing facilities, and other large spaces filled with hard surfaces, sound can bounce from wall to wall, creating excessive reverberation that makes the environment loud and uncomfortable. Sound Silencer™ Acoustical Baffles help bring that noise under control from above, suspending an absorptive material in the open ceiling space where both sides can capture reflected sound. Made from lightweight, rigid, porous ARPRO® Acoustical Expanded Polypropylene (P.E.P.P.), these fiber-free baffles resist moisture, impact, bacteria, and fungi while providing durable acoustical performance. Their cleanable, non-abrasive construction makes them especially well suited for demanding environments such as gymnasiums, swimming pools, arenas, manufacturing and processing facilities, food preparation areas, laboratories, and other spaces where traditional acoustical treatments may not be the best fit.
