Barrier ACT Ceiling Tiles are engineered for spaces where controlling sound transmission is just as important as reducing noise within the room. Unlike traditional acoustical ceiling tiles that primarily absorb sound, Barrier ACT Ceiling Tiles combine a high-density mass-loaded vinyl sound barrier with a sound-absorbing fiberglass core to create a dual-performance ceiling system. The integrated barrier helps reduce airborne noise traveling between adjacent rooms through the ceiling plenum, while the fiberglass core minimizes echo and reverberation for a quieter, more comfortable environment. Ideal for offices, healthcare facilities, classrooms, conference rooms, and other noise-sensitive spaces, these tiles are available with multiple facing options—including durable Mylar, white perforated fabric, and a wide selection of decorative acoustical fabrics—to complement virtually any interior design while delivering exceptional acoustic performance.
