Interior Soundproof Quilted Curtain

Quilted Soundproofing Curtains – Absorptive & Noise Barrier Panels

For Acoustic Control in Challenging Environments

Our quilted soundproofing curtains combine high-performance sound absorption with effective noise blocking in a flexible, modular design. These custom-fabricated acoustic curtains integrate either a 1 lb. or 2 lb. per square foot, dense mass-loaded vinyl core with a durable quilted absorptive facing on both sides, offering both noise reduction and containment in a single solution.

Ideal for industrial, commercial, and even residential applications, these curtains are frequently used to enclose machinery, isolate noisy workspaces, or create movable sound barriers. Designed to perform in demanding environments, they are water and chemical resistant and easy to install, remove, or reconfigure as needed.

Key Specifications:

  • STC: 29 (standard 1 lb. vinyl barrier)
  • NRC: 0.70 (standard 1” nominally thick fiberglass facing
  • Weight: 1.50 lb/ft²

    Applications

Industrial walls and enclosures, free standing movable screens, rolling barriers for doorway or window openings, work station enclosures or barriers,

    Material Composition

(standard panels) Nominal 1" thick fiberglass absorber, 1/8" thick, 1 lb. per square foot vinyl barrier, nominal 1" thick fiberglass absorber - face quilted and edge bound with an industrial grade vinyl-coated-fiberglass cloth. Grommets added along top edges as needed and optional vertical, 2" wide hook-and-loop fasteners are sewn onto edges of panels as needed to connect adjacent panels together. Optional components include nominal 2" thick fiberglass absorptive surface on one or both sides or 2 lb. per square foot vinyl for more attenuation at certian frequencies.

    Thickness

(standard panels) Nominal 1" thick when finished/quilted

    Size

Maximum individual panel width: 48" edge-to-edge. Height typically made to suit - Maximum single panel (roll) 48" x 25'

    Color

(Standard) Gray (optional) Black, Tan and White

    Installation Method

Optional wall, ceiling or threaded rod or even free-standing frame assemblies that support roller-track-systems can be produced as needed, call for details. Other mounting methods include: Mechanical fasters and washers, Plastic wratchet straps, or other, as needed.
